Catholic School Voucher Program

In May of 2006, the Seeds of Hope Board of Trustees unanimously voted to commit $750,000 per year for four years to create the Catholic School Voucher Program.  This privately-funded commitment provided a $3,000 voucher for 250 students from low-income families - new to the Catholic school system - to attend an Archdiocesan elementary or high school of their choice.  The program filled within five working days of the public announcement and had more than 200 students on the waiting list.

The 2008-2009 school year is the third year of this four-year program, and currently all 250 vouchers are filled.

Seeds of Hope is seeking partners and support for the Catholic School Voucher Program in order to complete the four-year commitment.

CSVP is open to grades K-12.
